There is no obvious fault point.
Check the oil level of crankcase, which is higher than the normal value;
Further inspection found that condensation water accumulated at the bottom of the crankcase of the air compressor; this phenomenon did not occur in non flood season.
In order to find out the water source in the crankcase of air compressor, the technicians of Dongxia river 4 hydropower station have investigated the surrounding mangmianhe hydropower station, gulika River hydropower station and Mengxia river five stage hydropower station.
In the above-mentioned power stations, the above phenomena have occurred in different degrees of air compressors in flood season.
In view of the above frequent failures of air compressor in flood season, combined with similar failures of air compressor in surrounding hydropower plants, technicians of mengxiahe cascade IV hydropower station carried out in-depth and extensive technical demonstration. It is believed that the main reason for the above-mentioned failures of air compressor in flood season is that the atmospheric moist air passes through the air compressor body during the shutdown period of the air compressor When the air pipe enters the crankcase, the moisture condenses and precipitates to the bottom of the crankcase, which results in the excessive water content in the lubricating oil in the crankcase.
